What is collected, and when

Nothing here is collected by browsing. Each row happens only when you fill something in or finish a game.

WhenWhat is recordedWhere it goes
You register for an event on the Events page Name, e-mail address, phone number, the event you chose, and that you ticked consent A Google Sheet owned by us, written by a Google Apps Script
You ask for access to the test reports vault Name, e-mail address, organisation, the date you asked, and the approval status The same workbook. An approval mails you a link that stops working after 14 days
You finish a booth game and enter a name for the leaderboard The name you typed, the score, the game, the time, and your browser's user-agent string The same workbook, and your own device's browser storage
You are a FACERINNA admin signing in Your e-mail address, the sign-in links issued to it, and when each session was last used The same workbook

Kept on your device only

These never leave the browser you are using and are not readable by us: the booth page's saved copy of its own settings (so it still opens with no signal), which sections you have unlocked during this visit, and the scores played on that device. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of them.

What is not collected

There is no advertising or analytics tracking on these pages, no third-party cookies, and no profiling. Photographs of the brochures and products on the site are our own material, not anything taken from you.

Why

Who else sees it

Google, as the operator of Sheets, Apps Script and Gmail, which is where the data is stored and from which our mail is sent. The pages themselves are served by GitHub Pages, which receives the ordinary request information any web server does. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else for their own purposes.

How long it is kept

An approval link for the vault expires 14 days after it is issued, and an admin session 30 days after sign-in, whether or not the underlying record is still held.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, stop using it for a purpose, or delete it. Write to the contact address above and say which you want; we will answer in writing. There is no charge for a first request.

Withdrawing consent is enough on its own: for the leaderboard, ask and we will remove the row. For vault access, say so and the link is revoked the same day.

Security, honestly stated

The workbooks are private to our Google account and the scripts read them as us, so the pages themselves carry no keys. A vault link, however, is a key: whoever holds it can open the reports until it expires or we revoke it, so please do not forward yours.

The booth page's lock and hide are a closed door, not a safe. They keep parts of the page out of sight between events; they are not a protection for anybody's personal data, and no personal data is stored in the page itself.

Changes

If this notice changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes to what is collected will be told to you where you give it.
